Bonnie Prince Bob for Ward 9.
Bonnie Prince Bob is a local artist, activist, and now a candidate in the Ward 9 by-election.
Bob has stood in previous elections — at Holyrood (challenging Angus Robertson in 2021) and for local council in Wards 8 and 11. His position has always been clear: party politics is choking democracy, both locally and nationally.
In Edinburgh, successive council administrations have handed the city over to private developers, global capital, and unchecked tourism. We don’t need another tram extension. We need to protect the Roseburn Cycle Path. We need serious investment in social housing. We need a moratorium on student flat developments.
Party-affiliated councillors are bound by the whip — limited in what they can say and how they vote. Bob isn’t. He has always spoken his mind — and will continue to speak up for the people who actually live here.
No one will speak louder for Edinburgh’s residents. No one will fight harder to put communities before profit.
Do the city a favour. Elect Bonnie Prince Bob.
